Actor/Filmmaker/Advocate Farah Merani is a graduate of the Drama Centre London and the University College Drama Program at the University of Toronto, while also receiving a diploma in Business Management for Media Professionals, co-sponsored by Humber College and WIFT. She has performed in Canada and the US, throughout Europe and in Russia. Some of her screen credits include: the new Quantum Leap on NBC, AppleTV’s SEE with Jason Momoa, Shadowhunters, and Station 19 and the feature film Eat Wheaties! starring Tony Hale and Sarah Goldberg. Farah was also cast in the lead role in an hour long dark comedy pilot, Hashtag Blessed, originally for Amazon.
On stage, she is a current member of the Ensemble Shakespeare Theatre in Pasadena, starred in the World Premiere of Little Pretty and the Exceptional at Factory Theatre in Toronto, earned a Best Performance nod for her work in the 2016 Summerworks hit, Trompe le Mort, and appeared in Wajdi Muawad’s production of Scorched at the Old Vic Tunnels in London.
